Welcome to the Southern Allied Re-enactment Association website

                                                  This Site is Under Construction

S.A.R.A. is the SOUTHERN ALLIED RE-ENACTEMENT ASSOCIATION comprising of various Allied re-enactment groups portraying allied units who fought for the liberation of Europe during the Second World War. Within this association are some of the best re-enactment and living history groups currently located in the south of England.

The aim of this web site is to provide a central “meeting place” were any information relating to these groups can be found and contacts can be made. Each of the groups in this association have been selected for their commitment, level of authenticity and respect for the veterans from all sides who gave their lives in the 1939-1945 conflict. It was also decided to form this association to represent the need for re-enactment to continue to educate and keep alive the memory of the veterans and the sacrifices they made.

Contained on this web page you will find the links to the various re-enactment groups plus up to date information on the S.A.R.A. association itself. The groups within S.A.R.A. can be seen at various events around the country and abroad as well were you can see at first hand the various units, their history and what life was like for the allied forces during world war two.

At Military Odyssey 2006, SARA was awarded the cup for the Best Display / Diorama of the show. This was a culmination of the hard work of all the groups within SARA.
